| Following are the information as received from SASTA |
|
| Your province/region is cordially invited to participate in the National Schools Bloemfontein, |
| Freestate. Please note that the tournament will start on the 1st April 2012 i.e. teams should be |
| arriving on the 31th and departing on the 04th |
| We will be having our closing ceremony as from 14h00 on the 04th April 2012 so managers |
| must please make arrangements for departure after that time. We will be announcing the |
| National Squad at that time. |
| A team will consist out of 6 boys and 6 girls of which 4 boys and 4 girls should be selected on |
| merit (inclusive of development players if they qualify) and the other two should only be |
| development players. |

| We can accommodate up to 16 teams so all-extra entries will be on a first come first serve basis. |
|
| Because funding of your development players are always a problem, I am forwarding the |
| tournament information very early. Please be advice that this is not a funded tournament. |
|
| All teams will have to provide their own transport arrangements. |
| All participants must have a copy of the birth certificate and passport if available. This is very |
| important for selection purposes. |

| 1. A National team will be selected for international participation in November/ |

| 2. The team will be visiting the Malaysia and we are currently busy planning an exiting |
| tour for our selected players. |
| 3. The cost will be +/- R26 000,00 so I want to urge parents to start their financial |
| planning as soon as possible. |
| 4. At the end of May 2012 after the tournament a non refundable deposit of R5000 will |
| have to pay by all participants. |
| 5. Parents must ensure that they apply for passports ASAP as this normally takes |
| 6 – 8 weeks. |

| Following are the infortation as received from SATA |
| SATA is pleased to announce that Free State Tennis Association will host the |
| 2012 Junior IPT from 26 April to 1 May 2012. SATA would like to draw Provinces |
| attention to the following initial information: |
| · 26 April: Teams arrive in Bloemfontein |
| Captains meeting at 18:00 – Venue TBA |
| · 27 April – 1 May: IPT Competition |
| · 1 May: Prize giving function |
| · 2 May: Team depart |
|
| Provinces are reminded of the following important rules which pertain to team |
| composition and team selection: |
| · 4 Boys & 4 Girls |
| · A Minimum of 1 boy and 1 girls MUST be from the historical PDI |
| community |
| · Team manager or coach to be appointed. Where the appointed |
| person is a coach by profession, such person MUST be registered as |
| a coach with SATA for 2012 |
| · Only South African citizens and holders of South African ID |
| documents may be considered for selection |
